The officers of the association are all insurance agents and they are the following:-

Chairman: Washington Ndegea
Washington Ndegea has been in the insurance industry for the last 17 years having started as a life agent. He set up his own insurance agency which has been in operation for the last 10years.He has contributing immensely to insurance growth in the industry by designing products suited for the micro insurance class of business with other insurance companies. He is also also a director of other companies he co-owns with others.

Secretary: Yahya Abdullahi
Abdullahi Yahya is a career Accountant who ventured in the insurance industry in 2010. He owns an insurance agency First Advantage Takaful Insurance Agency among other businesses in the service industry.  He's specialized in both General, Medical and life insurance.

 

Treasurer: Caroline Cheledi
Carol  has been in insurance sector for over 4 years working with Jubelee Insurance company  doing Medical and General Business. She has previous experience in sales in Standard Newspapers and Nestle Foods Ltd.

 

North Rift representative: Jairus Wafula
Jairus Simiyu started doing insurance in 2004 as a filling clerk in Kenya Orient Insurance Company ltd,after 2 years he started selling life insurance with Kenindia Insurance Co. Later on he joined Amaco Insurance as an in-house agent, afterward he became an independent Insurance agent and now runs his own agency.

Western Representative: Faraji Aduku
Faraji has worked with  AAR as a sales executive for 1 yr and as a unit manager with Pan Africa, Britam and CIC insurance companies. Currently he is a principal officer in Alfaraj Insurance Agencies. Hold an MBA in marketing and currently  is a phd candidate.

Coast Representative: Gideon Waliaula
He joined insurance in 04 August 2001 as life agent and in 2003 he did COP. He later registered Sifumbukho insurance agency  selling General insurance .  He has been honoured severally during Agent of The Year Awards by the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI).

Kisumu Representative: Ben Arodo
He has been in the insurance industry for now 12 yrs starting with Apollo insurance co. Ltd up to the position of Agency Manager at their Kisumu branch. He equally worked with The United insurance co.Ltd,now under statutory management, as branch marketing manager. From 2007 to date he has been doing insurance intermediary business under Fidential Commercial And Insurance Agency.

Kisumu regional Treasurer: Boniface Gowa
Boniface joined insurance agency in the year 2002 and has worked with Canon Assurance, United Insurance. He worked as unit manager with Invesco from 2005 and in 2007 joined Bonfri Agency as the principle officer. He holds a diploma in business management from KIM.

Central Representative: Charles Kiune

Upper Eastern Representative: Paul Mungathia

He joined Insurance in 1997 with Britam,by then it was Britak specializing on long term business policies like life insurance. He later joined Pan Africa Life in 2011 as a Unit Manager in Nyahururu branch. He was later transferred to Meru branch a position he holds presently.

 

 

South Rift Region Representative:Barsitei Boit

He has been running an insurance agency called Focus Insurance Agency.

South Rift Region Representative:Frank Njenga

He has been running an insurance agency called Franknpax Insurance Agency.

North Eastern Region Representative:Yusuf Abdi

Yussuf Abdi Noor is the Director Islamic Insurance Agency Africa Ltd, for 8 years. He mainly operates in the North Eastern Region Represenative.
